Meet TSAE’s New Board Members

Our new board members were installed at our board retreat in June and will officially be recognized in September during the New Ideas Annual Conference.

Dottie Bossley, CDME, CTA
Regional Sales Director
Visit Galveston

Dottie Bossley has been the driving force for Galveston Island’s group sales for more than 17 years. As Regional Sales Director for the Visit Galveston, Dottie works with state association clients to ensure they balance successful meetings with just the right amount of Island Time!

Dottie recently earned her Certified Destination Management Executive accreditation, Destination International’s most prestigious designation. She chairs the Galveston Island Park Board’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion marketing committee and is the winner of the 2020-2021 Hospitality Award from the Texas Travel Alliance.

When not working, she reads books, loves great TV series, dances the Mambo in the morning and gardens. Ask her about her stint on Baywatch!

tracy ginsburg

Tracy Ginsburg, Ed.D., CAE
Executive Director
Texas Association of School Business Officials

Tracy Ginsburg, Ed.D., CAE, has served as the Executive Director for the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) since 2013 and has more than 30 years of experience in the public school sector. Most previously, she served as the Chief Financial Officer for Fort Bend ISD and Round Rock ISD. Tracy received her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston in 2012 and has a passion for public education.

Tracy has served as a facilitator for TSAE’s CAE Study Course, the TSAE CEO Strategies task force chair, and is currently serving as chair of the ASBO Executive Director group. She is the recipient of the 2009 Austin Business Journal Non-Profit CFO of the Year, the 2011 TASBO Commitment to Excellence Award, and the 2013 Association of School Business Official (ASBO) Eagle Award. In 2020 Tracy received the Distinguished Executive Award from TSAE.

Tracy and her husband Steve live in Dripping Springs, where they enjoy visiting the area wineries.

Toni Lira
Director of Sales, Texas State Association Group
Hilton Worldwide Sales

Toni Lira, Texas Area Sales Office Director of Sales for Hilton Worldwide Sales, has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She attended Southwest State University (now Texas State University) then moved to Austin, where she worked with Ernst & Whinney before finding her niche in the hospitality industry. She began her hotel career with Red Lion Hotels & Resorts in Texas and Colorado. She spent 18 years in Colorado and New Mexico representing two resort properties for Destination Hotels & Resorts as a National Sales Director before moving back home to Texas. She joined the Hilton Austin sales team before joining the Hilton Worldwide Sales Team as Director of Sales maintaining the Texas state market.

She was awarded Hilton Austin’s 2018 Leader of the Year and 2018 Leader of the Quarter, in addition to being nominated for the Austin Hotel & Lodging Association’s 2018 Leader of the Year.

Jill McClure, CAE
Executive Director
Association of Progressive Rental Organizations (APRO)

Jill McClure serves as Executive Director at APRO, a national retail association in Austin. Previously, she served as Chief Operating Officer with Colorado Oil & Gas Association and spearheaded collaboration at Texas Association of School Boards.

A former consultant with Fortune 500 clients Dell, Motorola and Freescale, she also served as an adjunct professor in marketing and convention management.

McClure holds a master’s from UT Austin and a bachelor’s in communications in broadcasting. Named an Association Innovator by ASAE, she’s been a CAE since 2012. She was named in the “40 Under 40” by the Denver and Mississippi Business Journals. Jill resides in Cedar Park with husband Rob, children Bowen and Maggie, and two rescue Corgis.

Michele Packard-Milam, CAE
Executive Director/CEO
Dallas VA Research Corporation

Michele was appointed Executive Director/CEO of Dallas VA Research Corporation, a research and education foundation for North Texas Veterans, in 2016.

A CAE since 2006, she has 30 years’ experience in association management, strategic planning, brand management, knowledge-based governance and board leadership. She has held leadership positions in several notable nonprofit organizations, including American Heart Association, Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association and Promotional Products Association International. She serves on several boards, including the National Association of VA Research and Education Foundations and Dal-Rich Destination Imagination. Michele is a cum laude graduate of the University of North Texas and resides in Dallas with her husband of 40 years.

Paulina van Eeden Hill, CAE
Executive Director
Texas Association for the Gifted & Talented/Strategic Association Management

Paulina van Eeden Hill, CAE, is an Account Executive at Strategic Association Management (SAM). In this role, she provides executive leadership and organizational strategy to SAM and association partners by leveraging wide-ranging association management experience. Paulina serves as Executive Director of the Texas Association for the Gifted & Talented (TAGT), a professional association of 3,500 members with the mission to empower educators and parents to meet the unique needs of gifted and talented individuals. In addition to serving as the dedicated Executive Director of TAGT, she also leads the staff teams working with the Fast Growth Schools Coalition, an advocacy association and the Dallas/Fort Worth Association Executives, a professional society of association members.

As a lifelong learner, Paulina actively participates in national and regional professional organizations. Paulina lives in Austin with her husband, Justin, and son, Porter, where they enjoy Longhorn football and the incredible Austin food scene.
