Austin

Austin continues to affirm its reputation as a leading leisure, meeting and convention destination with exciting hotel and entertainment developments. By the end of 2022, Austin boasted 13,946 rooms downtown and 48,645 rooms citywide, including two new properties: the Hyatt Centric and the Loren.

Hyatt Centric will offer guests 246 rooms and an estimated 2,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The 1,400-square-foot presidential suite will also be available as a private event space. Guests can also enjoy a vibrant ground-floor restaurant and bar, a second-floor bar, an eclectic eighth-floor outdoor lounge and bar, as well as a 24-hour fitness center. Reservations are now available for when the hotel officially opens after the start of the new year. Meanwhile, the luxurious comfort of The Loren will feature a panoramic view of the Austin skyline and Lady Bird Lake. The hotel will include 108 rooms, a rooftop restaurant, event space, bar and lounge. More details to come as the opening approaches.

Round Rock

No visit to Round Rock is complete without a little of America’s pastime. Catch a Round Rock Express game, the AAA affiliate to the Texas Rangers, at Dell Diamond. The facility features numerous amenities for fan comfort and enjoyment and is designed for amazing close-up views of the action – fans seated on the first row behind home plate are actually closer to home plate than the pitcher’s mound. In addition to being the home for Round Rock Express games, Dell Diamond is also the site for amateur sporting events, as well as musical concerts, craft shows, and other events held year-round, and the United Heritage Center, located along the first base line, is available for private events.

Bryan

When in Bryan, jump right in at Lake Bryan, an outdoor recreation oasis in the heart of the Brazos Valley. With more than 20 miles of hiking, biking, and running trails, swimming areas, campgrounds, and largemouth bass, crappie, catfish, and redfish stocked by Texas Parks & Wildlife, there are plenty of opportunities to immerse yourself in nature and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life!

College Station

It’s time to get presidential! The George H. W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum at Texas A&M University creates a museum experience that is both educational and entertaining. Research over 43 million pages of documents, view thousands of museum objects, and learn about leadership and public service through the life of President George H. W. Bush. These materials are preserved and made available for research and museum exhibitions. Together, they document the life and career of George H. W. Bush and form an important historical record of the critical years in the late 20th century. The museum also contains a special section dedicated to former first lady Barbara Bush.

Georgetown

Finally, feel like you’re leaving this world with a visit to Georgetown’s Inner Space – a living cave, which means that its formations are continuing to develop and take shape. For over 80,000 years the cavern has been constantly changing, allowing for spectacular displays and breathtakingly beautiful formations.
