Remembering Wayne James, CAE

Wayne James, CAE, a distinguished life member of TSAE since 2005 and a member since 1975, passed away on February 2. James was a longtime member of ASAE and TSAE and founding member of DFWAE, where an annual award for member recruitment bears his name. James was the chief staff of the Texas Lathing & Plasterers Association and the One Coat Stucco Association until his retirement a few years ago. Early in his career, he was the chief staff executive of the Texas Tech Alumni Association. He is survived by his wife Peggy. TSAE is deeply saddened by the loss of a gentleman who had such a large impact on the Texas association industry.
