While some are born confident, charismatic leaders, others must work to develop their leadership skills. Through TSAE Toastmasters, you’ll participate in the training and gain the confidence to become the leader and speaker you have always wanted to be. Not only that, but you will also sharpen your management skills, become a better negotiator, gain trust and inspire your team.
What happens at a Toastmasters meeting?
You might be asking yourself, “what happens at a Toastmasters meeting?” That is a great question! Each meeting will have a theme to help drive the direction of the meeting. Sometimes people will have prepared speeches which typically do not exceed five minutes. The speaker will be given feedback by another member of the group (this is called the evaluation process). There are also table topics at each meeting, which consist of one of the attendees asking everyone else a question usually related to the theme. Then each attendee practices answering or discussing the question +for one to two minutes. This practice helps sharpen your networking skills, and this way, everyone has a chance to participate.

TSAE Toastmasters is a small group of people who currently work in all different types of businesses, so they learn something new from each other every time they meet.
