Meet TSAE’s New Board Members

Amy Brown

Amy Brown joined Visit Fort Worth in 2022 as Senior Vice President of Convention Sales & Services. She oversees sales, services and events teams. Collectively, her team markets Fort Worth to decision makers around the country and ensures those events are successful. Amy served on the PCMA Gulf States Board from 2018-2022, the TSAE Board of Directors in 2023-2025, IAEE Industry Partners Committee 2017-2021, PCMA Medical Meetings Task Force in 2014, MPI Texas Hill Country Board of Directors 2006-2009, and the TACVB Board of Directors in 2005-2006. She is currently on the Destinations International Convention Sales & Services Committee. Amy is an energetic ambassador for Fort Worth and represents the city with dedication and enthusiasm. As an avid traveler, she is passionate about working in this ever-changing industry where she has met lifelong best friends, and is devoted to taking care of her clients, partners and team. Amy grew up in northeast Houston in the town of Dayton, TX. She graduated from Texas A&M University and has been in the Destination Marketing world for over 20 years. She handled convention sales for some of the largest Texas cities (Houston, San Antonio and Austin) and the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.

Lindsey Jost, CAE, is the Associate Director for the Career and Technical Association of Texas, where she has worked for 15 years. She oversees marketing and communications for the association and its events, manages volunteers and committees, and helps lead vision and strategy. Lindsey has served on numerous TSAE task forces and committees and was the 2022 Professional Excellence Award recipient. She is a proud graduate of Texas Tech University, and when not working she can be found in the bleachers or in a golf cart for one of her three kids’ sporting events.

Kent Prickett, MBA, CAE, has cultivated extensive expertise in association management. Working in associations since the early 2000s, Kent has a multitude of experiences in every aspect of the industry. Motivated by an unyielding commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and a deep passion for helping others, Kent harnesses his knowledge and diligent work ethic to navigate complex situations with a strategic, thoughtful approach and aims to create a lasting impact on the lives of those he encounters. Kent is the CEO of Infinity Management, a company dedicated to assisting associations with day-to-day operations, conference management, strategic planning, and more. A staunch advocate for JEDI, Kent works diligently to create an open and inclusive environment for everyone. He is one of the 2020 Association Forum’s Forty Under 40 Awardees, an ASAE NextGen Alumni, and a proud CAE. Outside of work, he enjoys Texas politics, being near any body of water, immersing himself in a good book, and seizes any moment for quality time with his husband and their two dogs.

Shirley Robinson, CAE, is an experienced nonprofit association professional currently serving as the Executive Director of the Texas Library Association (TLA). With over two decades of experience, Robinson’s leadership is member-focused, driving successful initiatives and organizational growth. She excels in managing people, resources, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. Prior to TLA, she held leadership roles at Texas Healthcare Trustees, the Texas Hospital Association, and the Texas Society of Association Executives, as well as positions in business development, fundraising, and marketing for other organizations. Robinson holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Trinity University and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE). She enjoys hiking in the Texas Hill Country, reading the latest romance or mystery novel, and has too many wine club memberships. She stays busy chasing her two sons around on the weekends to high school and college marching band contests and events.

Kanice Spears, MPA, CMP serves as the Membership and Fund Development Director for Texas Trial Lawyers Associations (TTLA). Prior to joining the TTLA family in 2018, she served as the Membership Director for the State Bar of Texas. At TTLA she oversees the Membership Department and serves as the staff liaison to the Diversity and the Women’s Caucus Committees. As a member of the Texas Society of Association Executives, she has served on various committees and tasks forces since 2007. Kanice currently resides in Pflugerville, with her husband and two children.

Gloria Aguilera Terry joined the Texas Council on Family Violence (TCFV) in 2008. In her role as CEO, Gloria guides and directs the statewide activities of TCFV, such as the Texas Legislative Session, establishing and fostering statewide tactical partnerships, working with staff to provide outstanding services to programs and strategically positioning TCFV to create the influence necessary to continue serving the needs of victims and their families. Prior to TCFV she served as Executive Director of the Center against Family Violence, the largest domestic violence program along the US / Mexico border. Before joining the CAFV, she was Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration for the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce. In that capacity she directly managed the daily operations of three corporations and two limited liability companies with a varied spectrum of missions from workforce preparedness to affordable housing for the largest chamber of commerce in the region. She currently offers her time as faculty to the national Women of Color LEAP project, Diversity Committee of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, Sexual Assault Prevention Workgroup with the Office of the Governor, Texas State Crisis Intervention Program Committee with the Office of the Governor, and serves on the boards of the Texas Society of Association Professionals and the National Immigrant Women’s Advocacy Project.
