Remembering Our TSAE Family

In Memoriam

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of three esteemed members of TSAE, whose contributions have left an indelible mark on our organization.

Nancy Jones, CAE, who served with dedication as the Executive Director for the Air Conditioning Contractors Association – Texas Chapter, and subsequently the Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Contractors Association, was a beacon of leadership and advocacy. Her tireless efforts and visionary guidance greatly influenced our community.

Earline Oertli, CAE, whose remarkable 33-year tenure at the Texas Automobile Dealers Association until her retirement in 1999, exemplified commitment and excellence. Earline’s unwavering dedication and passion for her work profoundly impacted countless colleagues and members.

Nancy and Earlene were both awarded the Distinguished Life Member distinction within TSAE, which recognizes any member who has performed distinguished services to TSAE. This honor has been bestowed upon less than 5% of TSAE membership.

And finally, Lisa Sedgwick, CAE, who worked with the Ohio Pharmacists Association in Columbus, where she found a love for association management and nonprofits that would inspire her to later get her CAE credentials. She moved to Austin, Texas and began work with the Austin Apartment Association where she worked for a few years before taking her dream job with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, also based in Austin.

Their legacies of service and excellence will continue to inspire us all. Our hearts go out to their families during this difficult time. We honor their memories and the lasting legacy they leave behind.
